Team Mooseallaneous is a new semi-hardcore Mythic raid team in Autonomous on Area 52 (US). We raid Wednesday and Friday, 7:30 to 10:30 PM Eastern, chasing Ahead of the Curve (AOTC) and Mythic progression in Midnight Season 2, recruting all roles.
Unlikely Heroes. Unstoppable Herd.
Every guild has that group of people who keep saying “we could probably do Mythic, you know.” In Autonomous, that group finally stopped talking about it and built a team.
We’re excited to announce Team Mooseallaneous, the newest raid team in Autonomous and a semi-hardcore Mythic raid team on Area 52. The team is focused on Ahead of the Curve (AOTC), Mythic progression in Midnight Season 2, and having fun while we get better together. Recruitment is officially open, and every role is on the table.
Raid Schedule
Team Mooseallaneous raids Wednesday and Friday from 7:30 to 10:30 PM Eastern.
- Raid Leader: Mierah
- Raid Assist: Mikey
We built the schedule around the teams Autonomous already runs on purpose. If you’re already raiding with Bread, Last Pull Magic, Floyd’s Farm or Cool Cats and want to bring an alt into Mythic, you can. Just get your current raid leader’s blessing first.
What our goals are for Midnight Season 2
Here’s what this team is actually here to do:
- Earn AOTC in the Venomous Abyss.
- Push Mythic progression, starting with a target of 4/8 Mythic and going as far past that as we can.
- Keep getting better as a team, without letting raid night turn into a second job.
We want to be upfront about that 4/8 goal. It’s a starting line, not a ceiling. We’d rather set a target we can hit cleanly and build from there than promise Cutting Edge on night one and burn everybody out by week four.
Semi-hardcore, and what that actually means
“Semi-hardcore” gets thrown around a lot in guild recruitment posts, so here’s what it means for us.
We care about being prepared, owning our mistakes, working together and improving over time. Mechanics and team success come before individual parses. A purple parse doesn’t help anyone if you stood in the swirly to get it.
We also review logs. Not to call people out, but because Warcraft Logs is the fastest way to see what happened on a wipe and why. We’ll look at performance, run group raid reviews, and figure out what each of us does well and where we can tighten up. If you’ve never dug into your own logs before, that’s fine. We’ll show you how.
We take progression seriously. We take ourselves a lot less seriously. Raid should be something you look forward to on Wednesday, not something you dread.
Now recruiting tanks, healers, and DPS
Team Mooseallaneous is recruiting all roles: tanks, healers and DPS.
Requirements:
- Minimum item level of 325
- Fully enchanted and gemmed gear
- Venomous Abyss AOTC plus Heroic Nymrissa and Kith’ix kills preferred (we can waive this after a log review)
- Consistent attendance, encounter prep and a willingness to improve
- A positive, team-first attitude and a sense of humor. Even a dry one. This one is mandatory.
The item level and enchant requirements aren’t there to gatekeep. Mythic tuning is tight, and walking into a progression night under-geared means the whole group pays for it with extra wipes. The AOTC requirement is softer on purpose. If you didn’t get the kill but your logs show you know the fights, we’d rather look at how you play than at an achievement.
We’re looking for people who show up, put in the work and want to see how far a group of unlikely heroes can go.
Why Team Mooseallaneous is part of Autonomous
Autonomous is a cross-faction mega-guild on Area 52 built around one idea: every raid team runs itself. Each team sets its own pace, roster and culture, and the guild backs all of them. It’s how we can have a Cutting Edge team and mutiple teams with varying goal under the same banner.
That also means joining Mooseallaneous gets you more than a raid spot. You get a Discord full of people running Mythic+ every night, alts that always have a home, and room to move to a different team later if your schedule or goals change.
How to join the herd
Applications are opening soon, and we’ll link the form here as soon as it’s live. In the meantime, join the Autonomous Discord and reach out to Mierah or Mikey directly. They’ll answer your questions and get you on the list.
Serious progress. Moosebehavior likely.
Who We’re Looking For
Right now The Degens need:
- Healers: Preservation Evoker or Mistweaver Monk
- DPS: Demon Hunter, Evoker, and Warlock
Don’t see your class? Come say hi anyway. Autonomous has other teams on other nights, and you can see every open spot on our recruitment page.
Come Raid With Us
If Wednesdays and Fridays work for you and this sounds like your kind of team, join the Discord and apply to Team Mooseallaneous. Tell us your class, spec, and item level, and reach out to Mierah or Mikey with any questions.
See you on raid night.
